Amidst the shifting skies and ocean winds of Central Vietnam, a distinguished shipment of four containers is now set to depart Da Nang Port, destined for Melbourne and Sydney.

Specifically, 2container 40’OT and 1container 20’DC will journey to Melbourne, while 1container 40’OT heads toward Sydney.

All goods were stuffed and lashed at the marble yard located in Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village – a place where artistry has been nurtured for centuries beneath the shadow of the Marble Mountains. Here, at a marble yard rich in heritage, each sculpture has been carefully handled, secured, and prepared — preserving not only the craftsmanship, but the spirit of the artisans behind it.

From the very first stages, Overseas Keys has closely followed up with customers to provide technical advice, ensuring that each sculpture is designed and drafted in line with the container type, dimensions, and weight capacity. Some statues in this shipment are exceptionally large, with gross weights reaching up to 28,500 KGS and lengths of up to 7.5 meters.

Given the nature of the cargo, proper lashing, reinforcement, and professional handling were essential. Our experienced team carefully managed every detail—from base fixing, weight distribution, to securing each piece for safe sea transport.

Despite the challenges brought by typhoon Fengshen, which affected the packing schedule, the team worked tirelessly to stay on track. The shipment departed on October 25, and though there are ongoing weather developments related to Typhoon Fengshen, we remain hopeful that all four containers will arrive at Melbourne and Sydney ports on schedule.
