FROM START TO FINISH: A YEAR-LONG EFFORT IN HANDLING RELIGIOUS SHIPMENT WITH OVERSEAS KEYS AND WTL

Ho Chi Minh City serves as Vietnam’s logistics hub, while Yangon is Myanmar’s main point for international trade. Both cities have strong air and sea transport links for moving goods. Logistic companies handle essential services like customs clearance, ensuring smooth operations.

In November, an export shipment was expertly managed by a strong partnership between Overseas Keys and WTL, combining our specialized skills to provide a reliable and seamless service.

For us, this is not a difficult shipment but it lasted too much time. It took us nearly 1 year to pick up cargoes, stored then stuffed and did export customs clearance. Customs Clearance was one of the biggest obstacles in this process. Due to religious items, it involves careful coordination and attention to cultural sensitivities.

Our team took extra care in packing and transporting fragile items like statues using high-quality materials to protect them during transit. Our experienced team ensures the cargo was cleared efficiently, managing all aspects of the logistics with a focus on precision and timely movement.

WTL, in turn, handled the essential task of issuing the Delivery Order (DO) for the cargo once it reached Yangon. While WTL didn’t handle the physical delivery of the goods, their responsibility is crucial in ensuring that the consignee can access their shipment once it arrives in Yangon. By providing the DO, WTL facilitated the final steps of the process, allowing the consignee to take possession of their goods for further transportation or distribution.

This partnership ensures a smooth transition from origin to destination with all necessary steps handled efficiently.
